Every product and ingredient here is compared with public regulatory lists — Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), the European Commission's CosIng database and the U.S. FDA — with the source and the date we checked.
Paste the full ingredient list from any label. See which ingredients are prohibited or restricted in each of the three jurisdictions. Nothing you paste is saved.
Many Korean sunscreens use UV filters approved in Korea and the EU that are not on the FDA's list for U.S. over-the-counter sunscreens.
Official recall and enforcement records, matched to brands where we can.
Picked from published ingredient lists — not a ranking. See also what changed in official rules this week.

An independent English site that compares the full ingredient lists of K-beauty products with official public records from Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), the European Commission's CosIng database and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Every rule shows its official source and the date we last checked it.
It means we compared a product's listed ingredients with official regulatory records. It is not a lab test, a safety rating, a review, or proof that a product is authentic.
From the brands' own official online stores, copied with the page link and the date we read it. When a brand changes a formula, we keep the earlier list in the product's history.
Not necessarily. “Restricted” usually means the ingredient is allowed up to a maximum amount, in certain product types, or with a label warning. The page shows the exact condition and links the official rule.
The U.S. regulates sunscreen actives as over-the-counter drugs and allows a shorter list of UV filters than Korea or the EU. Many Korean sunscreens use filters that are approved in Korea and the EU but not on the FDA's list.

No. It is information only. If you are pregnant, have a skin condition or allergies, ask a dermatologist or pharmacist.
Official rules and recalls are collected automatically every day or week, and brand stores are re-read every week. Each page shows when it was last checked.
